MANNHAI To Play At Ice Hockey World Championship

This weekend, MANNHAI — the Finnish group whose current lineup includes singer Pasi Koskinen (ex-AMORPHIS, AJATTARA) — will play at the Ice Hockey World Championship in Riga, Latvia. According to a press release from the band's record label, Dockyard 1, MANNHAI will play in the ice hall itself, but at the Club Depot "on the supporting program. All those hockey fanatics travelling to Latvia can see MANNHAI perform today, tomorrow and Sunday."

"Hellroad Caravan", MANNHAI's first album with singer Koskinen, will be released on June 26. The CD, which was issued in Europe on February 15, was recorded at Jive Studios in Helsinki and was described by the band as "heavier and more guitar-driven" than the group's previous album, 2004's "The Exploder".

MANNHAI's "Spaceball" single entered Finland's national single chart at position No. 1 back in January.
